Strategic Goals

SCHOOL CULTURE AND ENVIRONMENT
The Tyngsborough Public Schools will present a fully inclusive, safe environment that embraces diversity and the dignity of the individual as it provides each student with the opportunity to reach his/her highest potential.

CURRICULUM, INSTRUCTION, AND ASSESSMENT
The Tyngsborough Public Schools will ensure a coordinated PreK-12, standards-based program that incorporates the Guiding Principles of the Common Chapters of the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and is aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. A clear set of expectations will be stated regarding what students should know and be able to do in each subject (or topic) area by the end of each grade level. Throughout the school year, a variety of ongoing assessment methods will be utilized to evaluate the individual student, the curriculum, and the instructional strategies used.

RESOURCES
The Tyngsborough Public Schools will assess the education resource needs of its students and develop a plan for attaining these resources through the town budget process and the pursuit of alternative sources of revenue.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
The Tyngsborough community will recognize the public schools as an investment for the growth and development of all its citizens.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The Tyngsborough Public Schools will provide a strong professional development program in a climate conducive to collegiality.
